    A MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF NOWRUZ

You are invited to come along to a special musical event at The Granta on
the evening of Friday 5 March.

A small group of Iranian, Turkish and Kurdish singers and musicians is
coming to Cambridge. Brought together by Peyman Heydarian. In the early
evening they will play at St Catharine's College, as part of the Kellaway
    Series of concerts. Details at

After the concert the musicians and singers will proceed to the Granta Pub
(14 Newnham Terrace, round the corner from Darwin College) for an informal
musical session in celebration of Nowruz.

Nowruz, in case you don't know, is the Iranian New Year. It falls in
mid-March. It is celebrated by 300 million people worldwide. At the end of
last year UNESCO formally recognised it as part of their List of the
    Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Admission is free. Event starts at about 8.30. You are invited to attend.
