CLARE COLLEGE CHAMBER MUSIC COMPOSITION COMPETITION
An annual competition for the composition of chamber music, open to all
undergraduates of Cambridge University. The top three entries will be
workshopped with Giles Swayne (Composer-in-Residence).
The composition that is awarded the first prize will be performed at a public concert following the workshop.
Submissions should be written for String Quartet between 5 and 15 minutes in
length and should be submitted by Tuesday 19 January 2010 to the Director of
Music, Clare College and be clearly marked 'Composition Competition'.
The masterclass and concert will take place on:
Saturday 27 February 2010
Bennett Room, Memorial Court, Clare College
Masterclass: 2 - 5 p.m.
Concert: 7.30 p.m.
