Job Vacancy (Assistant Artist Manager)
Description of position: Busy classical music artist management company with offices in Cambridge and London is seeking bright, organised and confident individual to be responsible for carrying out servicing for various busy artists and to share some general office administration. The post includes liaising with concert promoters throughout the world, booking flights, obtaining visas, fixing artists, sourcing programme notes, inputting financial data and producing detailed schedules/itineraries for artists. There are opportunities to attend concerts in the UK and abroad. You would report to one or more artist managers.
Skills required: Experience in the classical music world is an advantage, as are foreign language skills. Good computer skills and attention to detail are vital. Patience, flexibility and a good sense of humour are essential, and a background or interest in classical music is desirable.
Other information: This is a full-time position based in our Cambridge office. Staff are initially appointed on a three month trial basis.
Salary: Dependent upon experience.
