Applications are now open for ASSISTANT MUSICAL DIRECTOR and REPETITEURS for the Gilbert & Sullivan society's semi-staged May Week show, The Gondoliers.

We will be performing on Friday of May Week - the 19th June, in the afternoon before the society Garden Party.

Rehearsals will be minimal, with no more than one a week and none during the exam period (Week 5 onwards), and it is entirely possible to combine 'The Gondoliers' with other commitments, both academic and theatrical. The show is designed to be a fun, low-stress experience, and is always a highlight of the G&S May Week calendar. This year, it is likely that we will also be performing the show on the Friday evening at Corpus Christi May Ball, though this will unfortunately only involve about 18 members of the cast due to stage restrictions. If you can't go to the ball please don't let it put you off being in the show during the day; what we perform at Corpus will most likely be an extremely trancated version.

**APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR AN ASSISTANT MUSICAL DIRECTOR and REPETITEURS**
AMD - The AMD's role will be varied, including taking some rehearsals and helping with general organisation of the show. Piano playing is an advantage but not essential. If you would like to apply please email the MD, Rosalind Aczel, at rja53 by MIDNIGHT on THURSDAY 30th APRIL.

REPETITEUR(S) - There will not be a full orchestra for the performance, only piano accompaniment, and so applications are now open to find players for the show - it's possible that the accompaniment may be a duet. We are also looking for people willing to repetiteur at rehearsals. To apply, please email the MD, Rosaling Aczel, at rja53 by MIDNIGHT on SUNDAY 3rd MAY.

Any questions, please e-mail Rosalind (rja53) or Helen (hmeb2).
