Cambridge University Players & BATS, are producing the musical ‘Baby’ at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and are looking for *three* musicians to complete their band.
If you play TRUMPET, BASS GUITAR, or DRUMS, read on...
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival hosts 1500 shows per day, across 200 different venues, with comedy, dance, music, drama and everything in between on tap for three and a half weeks.
‘Baby’ is a Broadway musical boasting a brilliant score, spanning pop, rock, jazz, and Broadway influences, clips of which can be heard via the link below.

This year, Cambridge’s finest musical theatre talent are presenting ‘Baby’ at George Square, the only specific musical-theatre venue at the Fringe, from THURSDAY 6th AUGUST until MONDAY 31st AUGUST 2009. This is a brilliant opportunity to perform at one of the newest and most exciting venues at the Fringe, in a fantastic new production of this rarely-performed musical.
All those involved need to be available in Edinburgh from MONDAY 3RD AUGUST and would also need to be around for band rehearsals in the week before (the exact timings and locations of these are subject to negotiation once the band is fixed.)
The whole experience promises to be highly rewarding but also a lot of fun. If you are interested and want to know more, email Joe Bunker at jehb4@cam.ac.uk by the end of SUNDAY 26TH APRIL, though this won't commit you in any way at this stage.
