On Saturday 15th November at 8pm, the Schola Cantorum of Fisher House, directed by Matthew Ward, will give a concert of music as part of the celebrations over the consecration of the Catholic Chaplaincy's new crucifix - an exact replica of a 13th-century example by Cimabue.
The programme, given in Fisher Hall beneath the new crucifix itself, will include motets by Palestrina, Tallis, Victoria and others, as well as chants from the Mass and Office for Good Friday and the Exaltation of the Cross.
Entry is free, and there will be an interval, with refreshments provided.
