Cambridge University Baroque Ensemble, in association with Fitzwilliam Chamber Opera, is staging Monteverdi’s ‘Orfeo’ at the ADC Theatre, Week 2, Lent Term 2009 (27th-31st January)
The instrumental ensemble will consist of continuo (harpsichords, organ, lutes, harp),
strings, wind/brass (recorders, cornetts, trombones) and percussion. We are currently seeking players of baroque violin, viola and cello for the ensemble; the pitch will be A440.
