This is a fantastic opportunity for high-aiming student conductors to work with a high-standard symphony orchestra, with concerts in Cambridge once a term and St. John's Smith Square, London annually.</p> <p>Audition details are as follows:</p> <p>First round, on Saturday 27th February between 10:00am and 1:00 pm:</p> <p>Candidates will conduct a two-piano arrangement of the first movement of Schumann's 4th Symphony up to letter E. The panel will then select candidates to advance to the second round.</p> <p>Second round, on Monday 1st March between 8:00 and 10:00 pm:</p> <p>Candidates selected from the first round will rehearse CUSO through the 2nd movement of Mahler's Symphony number 4, up to figure 6.</p> <p>-----------------------------------------</p> <p>Applicants should send a CV of musical experience to Geoffrey Hung (cuso-secretary@srcf.ucam.org), stating the applicant's orchestral and conducting experience and contact details.
