The top three entries will be<br /> workshopped with Giles Swayne (Composer-in-Residence).</p> <p>The composition that is awarded the first prize will be performed at a public concert following the workshop.</p> <p>Submissions should be written for String Quartet between 5 and 15 minutes in<br /> length and should be submitted by Tuesday 19 January 2010 to the Director of<br /> Music, Clare College and be clearly marked 'Composition Competition'.</p> <p>The masterclass and concert will take place on:</p> <p>Saturday 27 February 2010</p> <p>Bennett Room, Memorial Court, Clare College</p> <p>Masterclass: 2 - 5 p.m.</p> <p>Concert: 7.30 p.m.</p> <p>For further information or if you have any queries,<br /> please contact Tim Brown (tcb21@cam.ac.uk / 01223 333206) </p>
