This will be a great opportunity for accomplished<br /> musicians to perform a concerto with one of Cambridge's best symphony<br /> orchestras. We will be selecting three soloists, one for each of our<br /> concerts in Michaelmas, Lent, and Easter terms.</p> <p>Auditions will take place during the day on Monday the 27th April in the<br /> Old Library, Emmanuel College. Candidates should perform a prepared solo<br /> piece of about ten minutes in length that best exhibits their talents. This<br /> could be (but is not required to be) a portion of the repertoire that would<br /> be performed with the orchestra, though candidates should have a clear idea<br /> of their desired orchestral repertoire in mind. We highly encourage<br /> bringing an accompanist if the chosen audition piece calls for one.<br /> Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an accompanist.</p> <p>Interested musicians should send a brief performance CV to Geoffrey Hung<br /> (cuso-secretary@srcf.ucam.org), including contact details.
