CUSO is delighted to announce audition dates for concerto soloists for our
2009-2010 season. This will be a great opportunity for accomplished
musicians to perform a concerto with one of Cambridge's best symphony
orchestras. We will be selecting three soloists, one for each of our
concerts in Michaelmas, Lent, and Easter terms.

Auditions will take place during the day on Monday the 27th April in the
Old Library, Emmanuel College. Candidates should perform a prepared solo
piece of about ten minutes in length that best exhibits their talents. This
could be (but is not required to be) a portion of the repertoire that would
be performed with the orchestra, though candidates should have a clear idea
of their desired orchestral repertoire in mind. We highly encourage
bringing an accompanist if the chosen audition piece calls for one.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an accompanist.

Interested musicians should send a brief performance CV to Geoffrey Hung
(cuso-secretary@srcf.ucam.org), including contact details. An audition
slot will then be assigned. We will be happy to discuss exceptional
scheduling conflicts.

Best wishes,
The CUSO Committee
