The programme for this year’s concert will include Elgar’s Violin sonata in E minor op. 82, and Beethoven’s Piano trio in C minor op. 1 no. 3. </p> <p>We are extremely lucky to have amongst our membership Guy Button, who is in his final year reading Music and is a holder of a BBC Fame Academy Bursary. Guy will be performing along with Geoffrey Thornton who is a University Instrumental Award Holder, and has played cello in numerous outstanding ensembles including the Colegium Musicum and the Cappe Quartet.
